Watch and Act - Muck Creek (Clarence Valley LGA)

A bush fire is burning in the area of Clouds Creek State Forest, south east of Grafton. The fire is about 27,500 hectares and is out of control.

Current Situation

The fire is burning in the area of Clouds Creek State Forest.

The fire is moving in a north-westerly direction. Smoke and embers can be expected in the Glenreagh area.

Firefighters on the ground are being supported by waterbombing aircraft.

Advice

If you are in the area of Glenreagh, monitor conditions and know what you will do if the fire threatens.

Check and follow your Bush Fire Survival Plan. If you do not have a plan, decide what you will do if the situation changes.
