For people in Lower Eyre Peninsula, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Yorke
Peninsula, Kangaroo Island and parts of West Coast and North East
Pastoral districts.

Severe thunderstorms are continuing over the north and west of the
State.
Weather Situation: A very humid and unstable northerly airmass,
ahead of a trough of low pressure over the Eyre Peninsula and the
North West Pastoral district is leading to the development of
severe thunderstorms.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may
lead to flash flooding and damaging wind gusts in excess of 90km/h
in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which
may be affected include Port Lincoln, Whyalla, Maitland, Kingscote,
Elliston and Cleve.
Parts of York Peninsula have reported around 20-30mm per hour this
morning.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Move cars under cover or away from trees.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
