Heavy rainfall and damaging winds possible with thunderstorms,

Weather Situation: A warm and humid airmass, together with an upper trough moving across the State leading to the development of severe thunderstorms.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and damaging winds in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Clare, Murray Bridge, Gawler, Hawker, Jamestown and Peterborough.

Tarcoola recorded a 113 km/h wind gust at 6:17 pm.

Cultana recorded a 93 km/h wind gust at 9.50 pm.

Port Augusta recorded an 85 km/h wind gust at 10.00 pm.

Tarnma recorded 29 mm of rainfall in the 60 minutes to 1:00 am.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Move cars under cover or away from trees.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
