A complex low pressure system south of the Bight will track eastwards to be near Mount Gambier late this evening. Northwesterly winds will strenghten this morning ahead of the low then tend westerly about southern and western coasts for a period this afternoon and evening.

Winds averaging 50 to 65km/h with gusts of 90 to 100 km/h may be experienced in parts, more likely with showers and thunderstorms.

Locations which may be affected include Port Lincoln, Elliston, Cleve, Streaky Bay, Cummins and Tumby Bay.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
