Weather Situation: Very large hail (larger than golf balls) is likely within the core of this thunderstorm.

The Bureau of Meteorology warns that, at 12:15 pm, very dangerous thunderstorms were detected on the weather radar to the southwest of Kingaroy. This thunderstorm is moving towards the northeast. This very dangerous thunderstorms is forecast to affect Kingaroy by 12:45 pm and the area northeast of Kingaroy, Murgon and Cherbourg by 1:15 pm.

Destructive winds and large hailstones are likely.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services advises that people should:
* Move your car under cover or away from trees.
* Secure loose outdoor items.
* Seek shelter, preferably indoors and never under trees.
* Avoid using the telephone during a thunderstorm.
* Beware of fallen trees and powerlines.
