A BUSHFIRE EMERGENCY WARNING FOR MANGANA AND TOWER HILL

There is a bushfire at Mangana Road, Fingal

The fire will put Mangana and Tower Hill at severe risk within the next 2 hours.

This fire will be difficult to control.

Burning embers, falling on Mangana and Tower Hill will threaten your home before the main fire.

Smoke and ash will make it difficult to see and breathe.

What to do:

If your home is well prepared for severe risk fires and you can actively defend it, it should provide shelter.

If your home is unprepared go to a safer location now only if the path is clear.

There is an Evacuation Centre at Fingal Valley Neighbourhood House - 20 Talbot Street, Fingal.

There is a nearby safer place at Fingal Valley Football Club.

If your family has made a bushfire survival plan, use it now.

If you don't live near Mangana and Tower Hill, stay away.
