There is a fire at waste management facility in Dohertys
Road..
Anyone located in Dohertys Road, Fitzgerald Road, Federation Trail
and Maria Street should take shelter indoors immediately.
What you should do:
Close all exterior doors and windows. Close vents and ensure that
heating and cooling systems are turned off.
If you are away from home do not return.
Protect your health:
Keep the roads clear so emergency services can respond.
If you are currently driving you should close the windows in your
vehicle. Turn off the air conditioning and close the vents.
Bring your pets indoors.
Impacts in your area:
The following roads are closed: Dohertys Road, Fitzgerald Road and
Federation Trail.
Emergency Services will remain in the area.
You will see smoke.
Traffic in the area will be affected.
