Weather Situation

Very strong and gusty winds over the central Pilbara associated with Tropical Cyclone Damien. Fresh and gusty southwesterly winds over the western Pilbara and Gascoyne. Very hot over the Eucla with a fresh and gusty southerly change extending from the west during the morning and afternoon.

For Sunday 9 February:
Severe Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather districts:
West Pilbara Coast, Ashburton Inland, Gascoyne Coast and Eucla
