For people in parts of Central Highlands and Coalfields, Central West, Wide Bay and Burnett, Maranoa and Warrego and Darling Downs and Granite Belt Forecast Districts.

Heavy thunderstorms continuing to develop around the central highlands and far northern Darling Downs.

Slow moving clusters of heavy thunderstorms are likely continue to develop over the warning area in the next few hours. These storms will be capable of producing heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding. Locations which may be affected include Carnarvon National Park, Injune, Taroom, Tambo, Blackall and Mantuan Downs.
Thunderstorms are continuing further south across the central Darling Downs, however rainfall rates have eased with these storms.
Barakula (NE of Miles) recorded 44mm in 30 minutes to 8pm.
Clovelley (NE of Miles) recorded 56mm in 30 minutes to 7:45pm.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services advises that people should:
* Never drive, walk or ride through flood waters. If it's flooded, forget it.
* Seek shelter, preferably indoors and never under trees.
* Avoid using the telephone during a thunderstorm.
* Beware of fallen trees and powerlines.
