Severe thunderstorms are occurring across the central North West Pastoral.

Weather Situation: A cold front and upper-level trough moving through western SA, combined with a vigorous northwesterly flow aloft, are producing fast-moving severe thunderstorms across the central North West Pastoral this afternoon.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds and large hailstones in the warning area over the next several hours.

Locations which may be affected include the area around Emu Junction.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Move cars under cover or away from trees.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
