Damaging wind risk continues over the southeast and Mount Lofty
Ranges today.
Weather Situation: A robust westerly airstream will remain in
place across eastern and southeastern parts of the state today as a
strong cold front shifts over southeastern Australia.
DAMAGING WINDS averaging 60 to 70 km/h with gusts around 90 km/h
are possible about the Mount Lofty Ranges and over southeastern
parts of the state. Winds are expected to ease below severe
thresholds by late afternoon.
Locations which may be affected include Mount Gambier, Naracoorte,
Burra, Robe, Millicent and Lucindale.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are
severe.
