For people in Flinders, Mid North and parts of West Coast, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, North West Pastoral, North East Pastoral and Yorke Peninsula districts.

The risk of damaging winds to continue over central and eastern parts of South Australia.

Weather Situation: A low pressure system and an associated front is crossing southern parts of the State. These systems are forecast to clear to the southeast on Friday morning.

DAMAGING WINDS averaging 60 to 70 km/h with peak gusts in excess of 90 km/h are likely across the warning area, most likely with showers and thunderstorms.

The risk of DAMAGING WINDS is expected to contract to the ranges about the Flinders and Mid North districts in the evening before easing early Friday morning.

Severe thunderstorms are also possible over areas east of Oak Valley and Ceduna. A separate Severe Thunderstorm Warning will be issued, if required.

Locations which may be affected include Whyalla, Ceduna, Marla, Coober Pedy, Roxby Downs and Leigh Creek.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
