MINOR FLOODING LIKELY FROM SATURDAY EVENING, WITH ISOLATED MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE ACROSS THE FLOOD WATCH AREA

A low is expected to form and deepen over southeastern parts of the mainland during Saturday, then quickly move over Tasmania during Sunday morning.

Catchments across Tasmania are relatively wet following recent rainfall, and catchments may react quickly to further rainfall.

Moderate to heavy rainfall is expected across the Flood Watch area from Saturday evening through to Sunday morning, with higher rainfall totals possible particularly about elevated locations.

Minor flooding is likely throughout the Flood Watch area from Saturday evening, with isolated moderate flooding possible from Sunday morning.

Macquarie River

East Coastal Rivers (north of Bicheno)

Ringarooma River

North Coastal Rivers

Tamar (Launceston)

Mersey River

Forth River

Northwest and Central Coastal Rivers

Nelson Bay Coastal Rivers

Pieman River

Derwent River

Jordan River

Coal River

East Coastal Rivers (south of Bicheno)

South East
